My Approach
My approach to training is a holistic one, and I am keen to work with people who wouldn't normally go to the gym or be in a position to just pick up training by themselves.
I have a philosophical approach of overall behaviour change, by combining it with a long term lifestyle change, and specifically for older female clients who are looking to improve their overall mental wellbeing. However I have successfully worked with younger female and male clients looking to improve their overall fitness.
I work with clients on an individual basis, tailoring needs and goals according to their current life commitments and availability.
Having also gone through an early menopause I have experience with the challenging changes and shifts within the body and the mind during perimenopause.

I have trained with Personal Trainers in the past for events, weight training and general fitness, and though being a highly motivated individual, having guidance and support have enabled me to achieve my goals safely and consistently over the years and inspire me to be a PT myself to help others achieve their goals.

With my knowledge and experience I will guide you through your own wellbeing journey. By improving your nutrition and making small changes to daily physical activity with a structured exercise programme I can equip you with the knowledge and provide you the support to not only achieve your goals, but to enable you to be consistently satisfied by your meals, maintain a healthy body and be energised through the day. I will be passionate and dedicated to your individual goals whether it is to run a 5k or a marathon, or lose and maintain weight loss, or generally to improve your physical and mental well being.
My Wellbeing Journey
My personal well being journey started with a love of taking part and representing my school in sports such as netball, gymnastics and athletics as a teenager.
In my twenties I decided to train and extend my running over longer distances.
I completed a 17 mile mountain run in the French Alps and my first half marathon in 2008.
I completed another half marathon in 2011 and then in 2012 I finished a 3 week trek in the Himalaya’s, the Virgin London Olympic Triathlon and rounded the year off with summiting Kilimanjaro!
In 2014 I became certified personal trainer while I worked within the financial sector in data and analytics. Over the next 3 years while training for 2 marathons within 6 months of each other, changing jobs within the financial industry, getting married, selling property, adopting 2 adorable pug puppies, and the final challenge of having gone through the menopause before I was 40 (which wasn't diagnosed until after the fact - explained a lot about my 30's in retrospect!!) that I realised how difficult it was to maintain all areas of my life and still stay on top of my well being.

So as an accumulation of all these experiences and challenges, I decided I wanted to follow my heart and do Personal Training full time! I wanted to be able to educate and support other women who were looking to take care of their well being and manage life to be able to live it to the full, through maintaining their exercise and nutrition for the long term.

And here I am, living the dream. I absolutely love what I do now! I look forward to working with my existing and new clients every day and hopefully I can work with you soon as well.

Please get in touch if you want to discuss your training and nutrition with me.
