• Group programmes, talks or webinars on staying healthy by eating well and living a healthy lifestyle.
• Assisting at public health events
**SCOPE OF PRACTICE
• General digestive complaints – constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, heartburn
• Pre-menstrual symptoms
• General immunity and frequent low level infections
• Elevated cholesterol
• Moderately elevated blood pressure (no higher than 139/89)
• Basic blood sugar imbalances (NOT Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes)
• Low energy (NOT any diagnosed fatigue related conditions)
*If a client has a non-complex health condition (as listed above), they must have consulted a GP about their symptoms and any possible underlying health concerns ruled out before working with a Diet & Lifestyle Educator.
Able to work with clients taking medications listed below:
• Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)
• Oral contraceptive pill (OCP)
• Hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
• Statins
• Blood pressure medication
